PM 6 - Action items from PM 5

Action items

  1. Peter Wintoft shall help solving the problem with applets that occurred running SAAPS at Esrange.
  2. Peter Wintoft shall submit test plan version 1.0 by 23 February.
  3. Peter Wintoft shall send email with user names and passwords to H. Evans, E. Daly, A. Hilgers, J.-P. Catani, T. Kuch, G. Reeves and C. Kunstadter by 12 February.
  4. Peter Wintoft shall put the SRD Java implementation pages on the web on 12 February. This closes the previous action item nr 7.
  5. Peter Wintoft shall update URD WP310 to version 1.0 by 14 February.
  6. Alain Hilgers to confirm the name of the new contracts officer for the project.
  7. Peter Wintoft will implement LANL data. He will ask G Reeves for an update of LANL data.

Actions taken

  1. Esrange uses Microsoft Internet Explorer (MIE) on Windows computers. It turned out that the MIE on Windows does not fully implement Java, and especially not RMI were the problem occured. When they installed Netscape the SAAPS Applets started working. However, Esrange would prefere to use MIE in the future.
  2. Test Plan 1.0 was submitted on 28 February.
  3. User names and passwords were sent to the mentioned people on 19 February.
  4. The SRD Java implementation pages were put on the web on 8 February.
  5. The URD WP310 Version 1.0 was put on the web on 16 February.
  6. The new contracts officer were comfirmed on ??.
  7. The LANL data was implemented on 15 February. Contact with G. Reeves has not been made.
