1. Progress status

- The storage of n-dimensional CDF r-variables with all dimensional variabilities set to "F" (false) are stored as 0-dimensional variables in ODI.

- The code now handles dimensional variables of any dimension. Previously it was limited to 2-dim variables.

- The Admin Guide has been updated.

- The User Guide has been updated.

- Parsing code for real-time GOES data has been added. Real-time data are currently being added to the ODI GOES_I12_5 dataset. It has to be decided if the real-time data should be stored in GOES_I12_5 or if a new dataset should be created to store the real-time data.

- Java ODI database library code has been added under $ODI_HOME/lib. A description of how to read data into Java is given in the User Guide.

- D. Heynderickx created skeleton and .set files for the STRV1B datasets. The original A and B datasets were re-parsed as they contain mixed information. Two datasets have been added to the system: REM, containing housekeeping data from the A files and fluxes from the B files; TEST, containing the TEST housekeeping data and counts from the A files (with separate timestamp).

- D. Heynderickx added the STRV1B and ISEE datasets to the ODI system on the BIRA server.

- D. Heynderickx presented ODI at a SPENVIS progress meeting. The SPENVIS interface pages (completed in March) were also presented. The interface was accepted, with some minor modifications to be made to the output file generated by the interface.

The date for delivery of software was delayed, partly due to part-time parental leave.
